Philip grew up in New York, where his interest in martial arts began to flourish from watching action stars like Chuck Norris beat up bad guys on tv. Being the son of Polish immigrants who had escaped the USSR, Philip was born a freedom-loving Patriot, enlisting in the US Navy at age 18, he played a part in spreading freedom and democracy in the Middle East during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Philip routinely fights in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu competitions and has several wins under his belt. In addition to fighting in the ring, Philip has also had the practical application of his knowledge in several self-defense situations, including multiple attacker scenarios and fighting with weapons. His love for fighting has led him to teach Krav Maga at Sparta Academy.
