Born in Cuba and raised in Southern California. Dayra was raised in a Kempo-dominant household she became very familiar with that and Escrima. She continued to explore the world of martial arts, deepening her interest.
Today, Dayra continues her journey in martial arts training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Krav Maga, MMA, strength, and conditioning, in addition to competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai tournaments. She discovered her passion for teaching while practicing with her daughter and since then has been able to share her passion for martial arts through coaching students, both kids, and adults, in Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Kids MMA, and fitness.
